Nature's Herbs® Wild Countryside Devil's Claw is harvested from the wild in the Kalahari desert and Namibian steppes of Africa. It produces lovely blossoms but it also produces a thorny seedpod which clings tenaciously to anything it touches. It must survive 9 months of drought each year, and to do so produces a very deep root with one or two sets of potato-like tubers which store water and nutrients.
